The reader’s problem
The first API served searches and individual records.
What changed
The 24 October expansion added legislation and Gazette listings, with date filtering and pagination. Amendment responses also identified the affected articles, allowing software to distinguish a change to particular provisions from a relationship involving a whole text.
Using the feature
Use a date range to build a publication list, then follow the next-page offset until the listing ends. Retrieve the records you need and inspect the amended and amending relationships. The hosted API and MCP documentation describes the corresponding operations and their limits.
Reading the evidence
A list is bounded by the library's contents and recorded dates. It should not be presented as an official notification that every publication in a period has been captured. Preserve source notices for scanned texts, and distinguish an amendment relationship from a general reference or an unresolved lead.
