Build the website from public source

The website source and a synthetic fixture are public. Developers can inspect the Arabic and English interface, test keyword search, and follow the separate service distribution.

Website source published on 30 October

The public lebanese-legislation repository contains the Go website behind Lebanese Legislation, including Arabic and English pages. Developers can inspect its browsing and keyword-search code, build it locally and connect it to a compatible PostgreSQL database. The repository documents the required Go version and environment variables.

Try one fictional law first

A synthetic fixture contains one fictional law and article. Its documented example lets developers open a law page and call the search API without treating demonstration text as Lebanese law. This makes the interface and request format easier to inspect before connecting a real database.

Follow the canonical service repository

The current README directs database, general API and MCP image users to the separate starter repository. The MCP target wraps its matching API image and exposes MCP and health routes. Provider-backed meaning search is disabled in the standalone website build. Do not assume every hosted capability is present locally.

Review the source and reuse terms

MIT covers the public code. Source documents keep their own rights and attribution. The website can be built into an image locally; current documentation says its website image is not published, while earlier tags remain available. Start with the source instructions and the synthetic fixture.
