تنشأ لدى وزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة سجل خاص لجمعيات المستهلك تنظم طريقة مسكه وتحديد مفاعيل قيوده بمرسوم يتخذ في مجلس الوزراء بناء على اقتراح وزير الاقتصاد والتجارة.
