The reader’s problem
Not every amendment names one article and supplies replacement wording.
What changed
A text can change monetary amounts throughout a code. The October graph update connected that kind of measure to articles containing the affected sums, so a reader would have a route to the later legislation beside the earlier provision.
Using the feature
This work covered code-wide changes in civil procedure and traffic legislation. Its purpose is to make a relevant amending text visible when the original article alone could leave a reader with an outdated figure. Open the linked measure and check its scope, dates and exceptions.
Reading the evidence
A recorded relationship does not calculate every amount that applies to a particular dispute. Effective dates and the circumstances of the case can matter. Keep the amending text with any quoted figure, and distinguish a source's original amount from a later rule changing how that amount must be read.
