Where the texts come from
Every text here comes from the Lebanese University's Centre for Research and Studies in Legal Informatics (مركز الدراسات والأبحاث في المعلوماتية القانونية), which has catalogued Lebanese legislation, case law and doctrine since 1986. Each page links to the Centre's own record.
What is here
101,559 laws, decrees and decisions, 99,289 of them with their full text so far (384,808 articles); 47,615 court rulings; 6,808 issues of the Official Gazette; 3,633 legal opinions; 1,973 agreements; and 2,574 articles from legal periodicals. Full texts are still arriving from the Centre and are added as they come.

Information from published official texts, not legal advice. The Official Gazette remains the authoritative text: check it, or consult a qualified lawyer for your case. No lawyer or law firm reviews, endorses or stands behind this site.

Privacy
We count visits with Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to learn which texts people read and how they find them. Our own server also keeps an anonymous log of searches (the words typed and how many results they found) and of which texts are read, without IP addresses or any other detail about you, and adds it up by day; the daily lines are deleted after 90 days. We do not run ads, sell data or ask you to sign in. Please do not search for personal information.
If you leave your email in the "tell me if AI answers come" box on Lebanese law and AI, we keep it only to send that one message. Write to [email protected] to have it deleted at any time.
