بناء على المرسوم رقم 2047 الصادر في 28 كانون الثاني 1943 انشىء مخفر درك قصبة- الشويفات اعتبارا من اول شباط سنة 1943 يتألف هذا المخفر من جاويش وخمسة انفار مشاة وتناط به حماية القرى التي كانت تابعة مخفر صحراء الشويفات وهي: الشويفات دير قوبل- بشامون- سر حمول- عين عنوب - وادي الدلوب - جل البحر
