بناء على المرسوم رقم 236 الصادر في 11 كانون اول 943 يلغى مخفر الشويفات المؤلف من جاويش وخمسة جنود مشاة اعتبارا من اول كانون الاول سنة 1943 ويتبع الى مخفر صحراء الشويفات القرى الاتية: الشويفات , دير قوبل, بشامون, سر حمول, عين عنوب , وادي الدلب , جل الجر, التي كانت تابعة الى المخفر الملغى.
