The hazardous wastes storage facility shall comply with the Environmental Management Plan and the environmental conditions specified in the environmental license and with the following:

Not to receive any hazardous wastes from a carrier who doesn’t have an environmental license as a carrier of hazardous wastes;

Not to accept to store any hazardous waste not accompanied by the hazardous waste movement form;

When requesting to transport any hazardous waste shipment, ensure that the hazardous waste movement form is completed and ensure that this form accompanies the shipment at all stages;

Not to accept to receive the hazardous wastes unless they are packaged in the manner stipulated in Article (14), Clause (1) of this Decree;

Ensure that the shipment of hazardous waste is not delivered or sent to any carrier or to any final recovery, treatment or disposal facility that are not licensed by the Ministry of Environment;

The conformity with the data documented on the hazardous wastes movement form prior to the commencement of storage;

Assume responsibility for any damage or change to the status of the hazardous wastes during the storage process and find appropriate ways to manage them in an environmentally sound manner in accordance with the environmental conditions specified in his environmental license and in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations;

Immediately return the hazardous wastes to their generator and at his expense if they are not accepted upon delivery due to their non-compliance;

Notify the Ministry of Environment, within 3 days of occurence, about any incident that has resulted in or may have a negative impact on the environment due to the poor storage of hazardous wastes;

Provide the Ministry of Environment with periodic reports, every three months, on the various storage activities carried out by the facility. The report should include the types and quantities of hazardous wastes, storage periods and incidents in the case they occured, the procedures and results of the monitoring process and copies of all completed hazardous waste movement forms. The reports are to be kept for a period of five years from the date of submission.

The Ministry of Environment has the right to impose new environmental conditions when necessary and request documents proving the implementation of these new conditions.
