بناء على المرسوم رقم 1786 المؤرخ في 28 كانون الثاني سنة 1938 عينت لجنة مؤلفة من السادة: رئيس دائرة المناجم او مندوب عنه رئيسا مندوب عن مدير الاشغال العامة عضوا مندوب عن مدير الداخلية ٍ مندوب عن مدير المالية ٍ غايتها ان تبحث في امر التحقيق او الرفض للطلب المقدم من السيد جورج عريضه بشأن منحه رخصة استثمار المناجم من الفئة الرابعة وبالاخص بالفحم المعدني (لينيت ) ضمن نطاق رخصة التنقيب المعطاة بموجب المرسوم عدد 1194 المؤرخ في 26 تشرين الثاني سنة 1936 تجتمع هذه اللجنة بدعوة من رئيسها.
