The environmental license of the hazardous waste carrier shall be granted for a period of two years, renewable by a decision issued by the Minister of Environment.

In case an amendment occurred on the transport operations that caused to change the conditions based on which the license has been granted, the owner of the environmental license shall notify the Ministry of Environment of the amendments within a period of one month from the date of their occurrence. Based on this, the Ministry has to conduct an inspection and notify the carrier, in writing, about the results of the inspection within a period of a month and about the effect of these amendments on the validity of the environmental license.
