Each hazardous waste carrier is obliged to apply for an environmental license according to the template set by the Ministry of Environment.

The application shall be accompanied by a technical report indicating at least the following:

Types of the hazardous wastes to be transported,

Types and specifications of the vehicles designated for transporting hazardous wastes and their parking facilities,

Service areas and expected transport routes,

Detailed technical elaboration about the transport process including the necessary precautionary and preventive measures, the emergency plan and the training program necessary to prevent the leakage of hazardous wastes during transportation, and how to face unexpected circumstances and accidents that may occur to ensure the protection of the environment,

A copy of an insurance policy valid during the entire period of the environmental license.

The technical report shall be prepared by a specialized office accredited by the Ministry of Environment in accordance with the instructions issued by the Minister through a decision specifying the template, the content of the technical report, the fundamentals and administrative deadlines for review and providing opinion on it.
