المادة 257
اذا لم يعين القانون مفعول سبب مشدد, اوجب السبب المذكور تشديد العقوبة على الوجه التالي:
يبدل الاعدام من الاشغال الشاقة المؤبدة وتزاد كل عقوبة موقتة من الثلث الى النصف وتضاعف الغرامة.
Art. 257: Lorsque la loi n'aura determine l'effet d'une circonstance aggravante, celle-ci entrainera les augmentations de peines suivantes:
aux travaux forces a perpetuite sera substituee la peine de mort; toute peine temporaire sera augmentee du tiers a la moitie; L'amende sera portee au double.
